My coworker who also doubles as a makeup artist recommended this product to me. At first, I didn't want to try this because I use a lot of products to combat oil. Let's count them off...
- Murad's Oil-Control Mattifier
- M·A·C's Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone
- M·A·C's Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage
Product Description: A matte-ifying cream that acts like a powder, M·A·C Matte adds a sheer, no-shine matte texture in one smooth layer. May be used on bare or made-up skin. Use a latex sponge or a 252 Large Shader Brush to apply over the entire face or in the T-zone to reduce the appearance of shine. Apply M·A·C Matte after moisturizer, but before foundation to prime the skin for makeup. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation applies smoothly and effortlessly over top of M·A·C Matte.
Sort of kind of review, but not really: I like this. I didn't need it (because I have a lot of products that help me with oil); however, it's pretty cool to have because I don't have to apply blot powder in the afternoon. Even when I was in hot and humid Louisiana a few weeks ago my makeup stayed and oil didn't break through. I would def recommend this in the event you don't have a primer and you're oily.
